Went fishing yesterday at Wordons Pond there was approximately 4-6 inches of ice but only up to about 130 feet off shore. Then the ice just went very thin. Two tip ups went off but no fish were caught. Keep you all posted...... Going again on Sunday... ;)

I checked wordens today, Tuesday,  and much of the pond is still treacherous. big thin ice section  for at least 1/3 of the pond. there is safe ice, but you need to know where it is before it snows, there are thin weak pockets in alot of areas. you've been warned.   Ronnie

I went last weekend the thickest the ice was four inches. There were many open spots on the lake. ;D
Fishing is a sport in which thinking is involved it is the covenant between nature and man, mother and son. Through fishing only can we recreate the link that has been tarnished throughout the existence of the modern era of mankind. Fishing is the answer yet people ignore it and consider it a "stupid" thing to do. What do these people do instead? They stare in front of color changing boxes. Is that life? My life is fishin
