Ice is pretty good.  There are a few places that have water on top of the ice, but thickness is 14" or so.

The fishing sucks.  3 of us spent all day there yesterday and caught 1 small walleye, 1 small crappie and 2 small perch.  By small, I mean SMALL!

Just got back from there today and got...nothing.  One bite, early this am and that was it.

Good luck, it's the usual winter dead sea now.

I fished Shep's canyon area, from there to dam.  Probably about now the crappie could start around horsehead, might be worth a shot.

Any fish caught lately?  Haven't been able to get out for the last week or so and was hoping someone else fished Angy.  Seems that I've been the only one on the whole lake all winter.

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

rumor has it Orman is getting pretty yucky with bad ice, Angustora is usually in warmer temps than Orman so I bet it's getting pretty unsafe and close to opening up...  ???

It's no rumor that Orman has bad ice. I was there Saturday and it looked all slush. It doesn't bother me because I usually have better luck there in the summer anyway.

that's funny, I have never managed to catch any walleye out of the boat on that lake, but I sure can kill 'em on the ice! ::)
