I am looking to make a one day trip to ri for some pike flags..... any suggestions?

wordens pond, waterman res, chapman pond, stump pond(smithfield or coventry) are your best bets

I was thing wordens..any ideas on were to fish...are there any good maps to use.

If ice permits. go out towards the first point on the left, its pretty far out. and almost the whole pond is 3-4 feet so you cant go wrong with moving around

was out there last Thursday...ice was Ok stress cracks running accross the the pond in several areas...it should be fine by now it hasn't warmed up that much...fishing was poor and the wind was howling...tuff day

100 acre pond is where the state record is from johnsons and stump ponds can be good, but if you do not mind spending $80 for non res licence patchaug pond is your best bet for pike they stocked over 10,000 in 5 years starting in 1999. I have had some great days there good luck.
