Wakefield Pond Tournament coming up

I was at a local bait shop and picked up this flier.  Not advertising, but just wanted to share it with the Rhode Island Shanty Crew.  It's a good tournament for a good cause.

 :)Got luckey with this storm. Only about 3in. of snow in the area and the wind has blown most of it off the ice. 35deg. and sunny for Sat. I love it!!!!!

Glad to hear you guys are coming back. Stopped by the pond this afternoon. About 2" of snow left after the wind.  Plenty of ice and plenty of sandwices.   We should be all set

    Last year was our first and we had 24 fishermen. We only advertise on the shanty and at Teds baitshop. We hope to have a few more people this year but don't expect it to get to busy. Good little tourney for a good cause. With a great prize.

Very simple my friend...  Rt 102 or Rt 44, to Rt 100 north, left onto buck hill road, left onto Wakefield road, left onto lee circle.  There is a state ramp on lee circle.

Great turny!!!!lots of fun. thanks guys will be back next year for the sandwich's and the fish! mostly the sandwiches. well the fish... Hell it was a blast!

Indeed...  Thank you all VERY much for your support!  We had over 50 anglers today, and the winner landed a 4.75 bass!  I will post pictures by tomorrow.  Thanks again, and I'm glad you all had fun
