Thanks Dave.  Just an incredible experience.  Something you always are hoping for.  We've been trying for a 20lber for a long time.  Never expected them to be that big.  Glad Austin could be there.  We need to meet up with the kids.  My wife says that I have to focus on them with the fishing now.  I think she's right.

Incredible.  The line cut into the bottom of the hole and was actually slowing him down.  I reached down to fix it and it just screamed after that.  Hit him on the run and you could feel the weight of it and the thumping on the line from his tail kicks.  After the initial fight, he came in like a log until near the hole.  Tough to turn up the hole .  Had to try  twice and my buddy was there.  I told him as the mouth opens, grab his mouth and jaw and lift.  No gaff involved.  Have never used one on big fish.  Yes it was mounted - no debate on that.

This was an unbelievable day.  First I got the 29.8 lber.  Then and hour later my buddy got a 26.2 lber.  I can't believe what the odds of that would be.   Twenty years of long hours.

That's one hell of a payoff for the investment! Great result and incredible fish you got there... Congrats!

Are you kidding?  You must be a better person than me if you would throw that back.  I've put in many long years as people that know me would tell you.  Hours trapping bait, etc., etc. etc.  Thanks for that kind of feedback.

Great job guys. Fish like that has to go on the wall. I got a 7 1/2 lbs bass on the wall figuring it was a fish of a lifetime.  Week after that caught one almost 8 and released it.  If you have fished a long time you know when the time is right for a mount.  Nice job fellas!!!
