Crappie in kendall
« on: Feb 06, 2010, 07:56 AM »
i fished this pond yesterday not expecting to much because in the summer it's not great but damn there's crappie.  I knew they were in there but scarce.  Well pulled out about 20 or so all small most about 6" or so seen a few good ones follow right to the hole.  Is there a trick to get the big ones?  I was getting the dinks on waxies so i went to minnows and nothing so i went with just heads and bam a few nicer but I just couldn't land any keepers. Any ideas would be great.

I wish i could but i'm puppy sitting all day.  Sucks after yesterday i wanna go back.  But tomorrow i'll go, let me know if you wanna go.  We could try this new one if you want. I know theres big fish in it but so many dinks.

I was thinking silver or gold frostie may work too. Will test both this afternoon and let you know
