anyone fish this great body of water yet this year? i have yet to go out for the trout and salmon through the ice this year. anyone know ice conditions and such please post. or stock reports. thanks -moose

It's all iced in they been on it for a couple of weeks. I have not been on there yet even tho I live a mile away! Hit Brigham Pond right down the road from there tons of perch crappie all day. comet is very slow all the time

It's safe all the way around Comet. Been there three times this year. Sunday I caught my first salmon of the year, seven and a half pounds. But that was ten hours, with that being the only flag. Masswildlife.com has some info on stocking. Stocking is done till the spring. Good luck.

not a bad place to fish, with the potential for a big salmon.....but keep in mind it's nickname.......'One-Flag Comet' !

Well now i feel pathetic having been excited over a 4.6 pound salmon lol
