As I said in another post, my kids and I decided to brave the cold to try our luck.  We had a great afternoon and I'm proud of both my kids.  Aiden landed a very nice bass as well as a few black crappie and Elena landed a few black crappie.

Aiden's big bass that made him jump back when he pulled it out of the water ( he also screamed like a little girl but don't tell him I told you)

Thanks for all the comments.  Tonight Aiden's homework will be to read each of these posts (he's in 2nd grade and hates reading).  Not only will he be anxious to read since its about him and fishing, he will also bug me more to bring him and I'll earn points with the wifey for making fishing an edumakation tool.    :clap:

Hi everybody,

Aiden read through all the posts this evening.  Thank you very much.  He got a kick out of reading posts about him.  He also slapped me upside the head when he read the part about him screaming like a girl - LOL - priceless. 

Stay tuned - we're planning an outing for MLK day on Monday.
