Dad is getting better at the taxidermy! He's done a few whitetail shoulder mounts, pretty much professional quality on upland and water fowl birds, still just practising tho, not making any money doing it yet... I'll take a pic of the whitetail that he just finished up and see what you all think. Its pretty cool that he is this decent after only 2 shoulder mounts. He's got a natural eye for detail, we're tile setters so detail is key for us to make a living, me and him will sit in the barn with a couple pops and just mess around with the thing all night until we get it just right, pretty fun!

Those wood ducks sure are some pretty birds. My sister had one mounted and I've been itchin to shoot one ever since to have one of my own, 2 seasons and still no wood ducks for me, heaps of mallards and teal though.

vex i could use a couple of turkey fan/beard mounts..all my friends keep telling me how easy it is...i seen theirs, looking like they dried it in a dryer!

Cat mounts?? Depends, cat has 2 different names!!!

I did get on ice today, only on the pond tho, me and my buddy jesse caught a few nice gills, and i caught a 15 inch largemouth. We were fishing in jeans and light coats so didnt last long before resorting to drinking.............. .

2nd time in 2 years i couldnt find my vex!! LOL. IDK mudly, im kinda excited to do a little fishing, next weekend we should be good to go, and with a 4 day wknd we should have plenty of time! HOpefully I can get on the ice with dad next wknd. Was at gander the other day and found a new shanty im going to buy, its a pop up clam and me and dad are gonna buy it together. Really looking forward to the gatherings this year tho!!!

yea finally got out for a Lil bit on a Buddy's pond for a couple gills and few small crappies,but sure was nice to get the itch off.... and only fished for two hours it was fun though.

Well guys hope the holidays treat you well.

I'm off to Florida for a week. Gonna try my hand at some ocean fish while I'm down there. I believe the condo were renting has internet so ill keep ya up todate with my fishing reports and pictures.
