Scroll down the main page to the dressed for ice fishing thread. Lots of good information in there.

Make sure you get one that keeps the snow off...unlike a carhart that would touch snow, then get wet, then be cold & heavy

i have been using my ice armor fishing suit for 2 years now and would not go back to carhart gear at all the ice armor does not soak up water like the other one and is much easier to get in and out of. along with many pockets for gear. just my 2 cents worth.

sno suit looks to be the best to me.  they sell the bibs and jacket seperately unlike clam.  In particular, the bibs have padding in the butt and knees that far surpass the others.  I covet those bibs ;D

I just went with the Vex suit.  See the other post on being sold out.  Some friends have them and love them.  I can't wait to try it out for myself.  Great price.  On a side note the Strikemaster suit was on sale at the Ice Show in St. Paul for $160 a set.  GREAT PRICE!
