i can get a pair of the vexilar bibs for $ :)80 and was just wondering if they are good. does any one here use them. are they as good as the clams bibs. any input will be greatly appreciated.

Ive had mine for 2-3 years and I like them. The seat isnt water proof only the knee pads are but I dont have too many issues with that. I use them all ice season and for catfish in april and trout and smallies late in the fall. Good for any season that your out in a cold wind. At 80 dollars thats a good deal.

I've had mine for a few years now. Excellent equipment for sure. Windproof/waterproof. Kneepads are a nice touch. After a few seasons, the kneepads are a little scuffed, but none the worse for the wear. I have the "shell" not the insulated one. I just wear cold weather gear underneath. And to give you an idea of how good the suit is: I wore them snowmobiling in Idaho 2 years ago/// it was -30F. And they were excellent!
The only bad point is that they are a little bit heavy (weight-wise). But i'll trade the extra weight for the protection they offer.

Thats good to know... I'm thinkin about pickin up the cold snap parka, and bibs on tuesday, that seals the deal for me!
