Wife's donated , but doesn't know yet.

Hi everyone,

                While we wait for Jack Frost to appear, i thought we could share our 2010 ideas. Well the wife just donated 2 items from the kitchen.

First her new  transducer holder (spatchler),  plastic- metal stem with 3 groves that i bent in the middle at a 45, bolt transducer to the middle slot and a long bolt in the handle that fits in a drill out hole in the fish finder handle.

Second her green grocery bag that i just claimed for a cover for my Mr heater. (perfect fit) that i drape over the heater to keep the weather out or fit in to carry it.   Great wife, always giving.

i love when the bride goes ice fishing with me and we break out the cooking gear......she always wonders where all the silverware and cooking utensils go at home......however, not to impressed with the food she finds on them when we open up the bucket....

Hmmm...can't think of too many donations from the wife...but I really want to see a pic of your spatchler set up!!  I need wunna those
Last year I came up with a handy little base for my aqua-vu cam.  Took a little rectangular plastic box...the kind you'd use to put pens/pencisl/crap in on your desk...little slots in the sides and and no top...about 4x6x2"deep.  Stuck fake weeds all around the edges, mounted the camera on it, and now I can rest it on bottom without sinking into the mud, and it's surrounded by weeds.  I don't like having it dangle, cause clamping the cable got to be a pain.

no,but sice you bring it up from time to time  just as long as i don't take her kitchen weapons out on the ice with me or convert them into mods for my gear, like i said i learned not to take without asking

I used to use the stuff that my wife donated to my shack. I got tired of working with her donated "junk" and bought new stuff for living on the ice. I hope she doesn't start snooping in my shack because my stuff is all nicer than what she has in the kitchen.
