Bafin boot sizing
« on: Oct 26, 2009, 01:01 PM »
Hey, Thinking about buying a new pair of Bafin boots, Was wondering about sizing? Buy the next size up  from your foot size or what. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, don't be afraid to buy the next size up! I bought mine and like everyone else I thought I had made a mistake. They still felt tight. After a few times walking up and down the driveway and now they fit perfect.

P.S. Don't let anyone else wear your boots. This type of boot needs to be worn by one person only, so they fit properly.

I was just looking at these boots online this morning. I have problems with my feet getting cold when sitting. These sound like a real warm boot........are they? How are they to put on and off? Does the liner come out when you pull your foot out or can you slide out of the liner and leave it in the boot? Do you have to put the liner on your foot and then into the boot? Lol, if I could get rid of a little belly I probably wouldn't have all these questions. ;D

They are so easy to put on. You don't need to take out the liners. Put them on then pull the buckles tight for walking. Sometimes when I am sitting I loosen the buckles so they aren't so warm on my legs. You can work the buckles with gloves on.

I generally wear size 11 shoes and my boots are size 12.  And they are very warm (I can only speak for the Baffin Impacts).  I have worn them in Saskatchewan's cold weather in bare feet and been perfectly fine.
