Superior Salmon

anybody been fishin salmon on lake superior i went today from 8 to bout 1130 and never had  a bite one other guy caught a coho and a splake but that was it for the area i was fishin

went out angain today had one coho on and lost it and that was the only hit for 3 hrs of fishing

we got some coho through the ice before everything blew out but we're hopin to get out on the open water soon.....the reports are sounding pretty good ;D

i w yesterday had one hit saw 3 fish but didnt catch anything but my buddy who was with me caught one coho and i know of about 8 others that were caught in the same area i was fishing

i was wondering where you are fishing i went out today at the lower harbor and got nothing i was wondering what king of bait you are using ect... i am new to fishing the marquette bay. what kind of bait are you using i have no boat so i am fishing off shore hope someone can help me out thanks

I have had luck downstate catching some bait (alwives maybe smelt or skane) and throwing them out with a big pyramid sinker and three foot leader and reel your rod tight and wait for them to come by and slam it. This works if you rig some rod holders to a bucket...

i catch salmon in the fall like that with spawn bags
