Welcome a new smelt fisherman

We had a couple hours today to kill so I took my youngest out for some ice fishing before it's all over. He had fun catching his first batch of smelt. I think he'll be asking to come out with me more often now.

Late ice the smelt bite during the day... somedays better than at night.
Today was a fantastic bite, they hooked themselves and he had a blast, yes it was Higgins and there is still plenty of ice yet to be fished.
How did you do last weekend CP?
