Well who else has been waiting for the rivers to come down by tying flies.

and here is ones that havent made it to a box yet

and i have anouther full box in the truck

Got 3 full boxes of nymphs, 2 boxes of eggs, and workin on the streamer box now....

i need to get back up to glens im almost out of hooks. im just learning how to tie othere patterns than the wiggler fly (still my favorite for steelies on gravel) but it is kinda nice tying infront of the computer cause i just watch videos on how to tie different patterns

That guy is a f****n TOOL I ran in to him on a the Rouge a couple times last fall. The guy walked right in front of me through the hole that I was fishing more than once and didnt think anything of it.

Just because he made it to basic cable where it showed him catching 6 inch long rainbow trout out west he thinks he owns the river!

So anyways now that I'm done with that rant....those are some nice lookin flies ya got there Squirrel!

hey squirrel, where did ya find the vids of tying flies online at? or are they just dvd's that ya watching on the computer?

im a novice tyer and the books i have found so far just dont cut it for learning off of.

i just do a google search for "how to tie a ________ video" just fill in the blank with what you want to tie. i have some good sites bookmarked on my othere computer but it decided not to work tonight i will pm you the links tomarrow

you tube has some pretty good vids also. That is how i learned to ty the Hex.

just gettin into fly tying.you would not want to see mine.the only 1 i can tie is the foam black beetle for gills.i can tie the crap outta spawnbags but get shaky trying to ty anything special.

thanks squirrel, its much appreciated man. hopefully i can get as good as you have. the last time i tried to tie a fly up it ended up being the creature from the black lagoon LOL

not too sure kinda new to the whole steel head stream fishing deal. last time i went out we were using wooley buggers and some other flies i dunno the name of em my buddy picked em up bfore the trip. what ya got to sell.

I tie bead head caddis, pheasant tails, stones, prince nymphs, hex nymphs, and a few other nameless nymphs that i just thought up that have produced for me. And of course all the egg patterns.

that's the only salmon i ever caught mud! 41 inches 25 pounds. i was lucky i guess?? my famous lure would have caught a bigger one

$h!t you got lucky...Ive been salmon fish the rivers and the big lake since I could cast and spinning reel and ive only caught 2 weighing 25 pounds and ive caught a LOT a salmon!

Thats a big fish...Where did ya catch it at?
