Bay of Green Bay, Whitefish
« on: Feb 28, 2009, 10:05 PM »
Couldn't drive on with the truck at Dykesville or Bayshore, went to Red River and wound up walking out 1/4 mi. there due to deep snow close in towards shore. Later in the day enough trucks with deep tread tires ans enough ground clearance beat a path out so people were able to drive out as long as they had 4 wheel drive.
Walking back in there's a fresh crack that formed today  about 50 yrds out from the landing but it was still tight when I left. Fished 11 fow from 8 AM till 4:30 PM and caught my limit. Tough bite but way more active and aggressive in early morning. As far as bait/lure size think small!
