Now that I'm settled, where to get bait?
« on: Feb 20, 2009, 09:16 AM »
Now that we're all moved in, I need a place closer to home to get my bait. Anyone in the Norton, Mansfield, Attleboro area care to reccomend my new favorite bait shop?  ;D

There are a couple places in Taunton. Bob's Bait 151 Bay St.  There is another on the way there off on the left before you get to Watsons Pond. Little sign out by the road. Never been to that one, Bobs has alot of bait and big bait

Agreed. I also started setting up the garage last night to hold bait. The 100 gallon tank is in place! I'll be trapping my own starting in the fall.

Tom's Wholesale Bait Middleborough Ma.  supplier of bait and tackle to most area baitshops. I think, Rt.44, wholesale-retail. Buy bait by the pound, not in dozens. Gives you a bonus 2-3 doz. He has all shapes and sizes, more even in sizes, as he has several holding tanks so bait is less mixed in size. And worth the trip to see his bait holding facility.

That's where my buddy bnuys his bait for his pet store in Canton.

Bill's Bait and Tackle in Seekonk, can't beat it.  Awesome guy, great selection, clean store, wealth of knowledge, good prices.  He's not that far from you, take 95 S to exit 2A.  He's only a mile or two off the exit.

Address: 1515 Newman Ave, Seekonk, MA, 02771
