Thanks Guys. This was one of the hardest fighting lakers that I have ever caught. At first, I didn't think it was that big, but when it put the brakes on, well it was on. I lost count of how many times it dove back to bottom. I was thankful for new knots and a good drag system. I barely had it hooked by the skin on it's lip. A couple of more head shakes or runs and it would have been all over. It was a lot of fun and even more fun watching it swim away. Thanks to my fishing partner, dougfishes, for helping land it. I might have to play hookey more often......
