Landed this hog today

The ice fishing was slow so we hit the river with spinners.  Then this hog hit.  I would guess he was around 24-26" and 5lbs or so, caught him, took this picture and let him go.

that sure is a monster, what stretch of the river where you fishin?, most of it around here has ice on the edges still, it is important to let those kinda fish go congrats.

By the trail beat down to that area where I was a lot of people know that spot.  If I read the regs correct that is a fly fish artificial lure only area, I saw a ton of empty worm containers.  If you can use live bait there I bet you could really hammer em'.  Goose.
