That's actually a "Whiper". One of the most awesome fighting freshwater game fish you'll ever catch. It's a hybrid between a striper and white bass. It's from Lake McCanaughy Nebraska. Got into them during a surface feeding frenzee! Absolute BLAST! Average whiper out of there's about 7lbs.

Oh, and when you said "weighing in" did you mean like this?

This is one of the twins, my daughter, being weighed-in on her due date last weekend Maybe I'll share some more pics of the new additions on another thread.
