Has anyone been in the cove at the campground or out from Muskrat Beach?
I've been wanting to try these places and haven't heard much talk about them so far.  There's a lot of snow on the ice and I know it's tricky in spots.  Just wondered if anyone knew if there was safe ice in these areas.

We're going to try Muskrat Beach on Friday. A friend of mine fished out from the campground 4"-5". Seems like the fishing is a little slow here with only a few perch. Where's the crappies? Hopefully will find out this weekend!    Rob

We were in Wyerough this past weekend and it was brutal.  I've never had good luck at and around the Flag Pole either.  Was looking to find some better fishing and a couple guys from church suggested these areas.

Thanks for the info. Rob.  A pm or a post would be appreciated about the ice.  We're in limbo about where to go on Saturday.  If it's no good, I'd say we'll head to the flagpole.
