Warmaug
« on: Jan 11, 2009, 05:05 PM »
hit lake warmaug today. my dad, gramp, and 4 buddies. 8-9 gills, couple of 'em were slabbers  ;D, 3 perch, a big pickerel, and 2 bass. the first bass was small, but the second one has a story. My dad was jiggin' his gill hotwhole when he thought he hooked bottom, suddenley the "bottom" started fighting (4lb. test, ultra ultra light rod) a good 5 min. fight spit out the tiny RED EYE at the whole, he grabbed it and pulled it up. he was lookin at it and saw it only had one eye and a big gash, all in all a great day! Ice was near 8" thick, no Quads or sleds though.

Thought I was alone. I'm jiggin panfish just so I have somthing to do waiting for flags that dont come.  And I hate the taste of panfish so they all go back in the hole! :icefish:

Big trout in waramaug. Its stocked privatley by a club, and the browns hold over in there, getting fat on alewives.
