Thanks, if there was 3" 2 days ago than this week should be 5" at least. I was going to try and go there this week end but I think I'm going to hit Hamlin. I will post my catch, SEE YA

How did you do?  I seen two guys out on it Saturday.  Didn't think the ice would have help up that well with the rain Sunday night.

Any more recent report on silveR?

The only thing that is known for sure right now is that there is safe ice, so I guess the only way to find out if there doing any good is to go and check for your self this week end  :-\ . I was going to go but then I changed my mind and now I'm gonna hit Hamlin this week end. GOOD LUCK if you go out and feel free to send me a PM if you do good ;D , I will do the same for any one who wants an update on Hamlin  ;) .

I fished yesterday in front of south access from10;00 till 1;00 pm ,minimal success. I was perch fishing only got 6 keepers also 1 dandy walleye hit my jig only to get away at the hole, 17 ft. water. 4-5 inches clear ice little bit of snow on top.

Heard a report that last nights snow put alot of slush on the ice.  Thinking of checking it out tomorrow, but don't really want to deal with all the slop, especially if it starts getting soft.

That was I. There was a good solid 6" once on the lake. I think the edge is probably ok now.

Put our shanny out in front of the state park in about 13 foot of water 9 inches of good black ice. Going fishing for eyes and pike in the morning. Cant wait.
