Fun Day in the shack!

We jigged up 11 dozen smelt, 6 perch, 4 white fish, 2 cusk, 2 brookies and 1 salmon! And yes Hazzy the Perch were fed to the eagles! :laugh:

Yes they are. They were biting very well all day. I saved several dozen for bait to use on Monday!

The word "whitefish" brings back good memories for me. I miss not having that fishery down here anymore. I guess that's why I kill so many togue.

When I travel up north, there's nothing better than jigging up some whitefish.

Nice day with quite a variety of fish. ;D
