Jiffy Man/Brown Pics

[NH Trout Fisherman]

Hey Guys,

Went up to Tewksbury Pond today with Knurren, Jiffyman, his girl-friend; Kieko and his daughter.  We also met Jiggin 69 who was up fishing the other side of the pond with Laker-Taker and another Friend.

Jiffyman landed a decent brown within the first 1/2 hour...




Knurren and I both had one empty flag (hit-n-drop) and as the snow/wind set in the fishing turned off

Jiggin said he and his buddies landed a few decent brown's and brookies which he'll probably post later.

I was a little dissapointed with the fish today, but at least I was with good company .

I love being on the ice in a snow storm...just hate driving home in it. Took three hours to get home.

All in all it was a great day. I was extremely disorganized but hey, it was the first trip of the year for me. I was so excited that I forgot my...well, something I should not have forgot...and my tackle box. I also went off and left my bulked doors wide open, lol. Thankfully my neighbor closed them before the storm really set in.

It was great to finally meet jiggin69...top shelf guy. Look forward to fishing with him later this year.

Nice brown Jiffy Man! What a long ride but glad you made it home safe. Couldn't beat the scenery.

nice brownie jiggin sorry to hear knurren and nhtf didn't hook up with any but i'm sure the weather had  an affect on the fish all the snow has to increase the water pressure ..really glad to see you guys made it back o.k thought about you all alot today watching the snow getting dumped on us...

Seriously? I can't believe no one mentioned my awesome hat!  The whole reason I bought it was to get a rise out of you people and you haven't even mentioned it. I couldn't get knurren or NHTF to bust on it either. I kept pointing at it throughout the day and nothing. I think jiggin was afraid to look at me because of it, that was as close as I got. It's genuine rabbit fur (at least that's what the tag says.) It's soft 

Well, I think the state should issue less ice fishing hats. Then maybe mine would get noticed! Allowing too many way cool hats on the ice is bad for something, not sure what but I'm sure I could think of something.

When that brown trout saw Jiffy Man's hat, I thought I heard it say...

"Ahhhhhh, they got me..."

I thought it looked warm. I use a mad bomber hat (similar to the one your wearing) and it is without a doubt the warmest hat I've ever had. It's not about looking pretty, it's about being warm and comfortable. (I would change the orange color though, you can be seen from miles away, maybe even from the space shuttle).

That suit is sick. I can't believe how warm and comfortable it is. It was 9 degrees and windy when we got out there and I think I had too much clothes on.
