« on: Jan 30, 2009, 09:02 AM »

we were out last weekend,  there isn't very much snow on the lake at all.  not like the rest of them around here anyways.  I think you would be fine dragging a trailer around as long as you had a 4X4

Thanks for the heads up.  Looking forward to some good perch - a big snake would not hurt either.

I just bought a cam this week have yet to get it in the water.  You are right I've seen on a buddys cam where a fish had a lure in its mouth and the rod did not move at all.  Looking forward to not missing as many bites.

your kids will love having the cam out on Pelltier, its like the videos you see on youtube about perch fishing they are EVERYWHERE. I have had my best luck on the south end. just before you get into where the shacks are btween the shacks and shore.drive around the lake and head towards camp lemiux (sp) you will see a way onto the ice. have fun.

There is more snow then most years. If your pulling your shack its fine just saty on someone elses tracks. If you plan on snomobiling, I would stay to the east side. If you see the jolly roger stop in for a chat.

We had a great day on the lake.  It was well worth the 2 hour drive from moose jaw.  I think I found a knew home for the shack.

I will be there this weekend again.
