Took a ride out to mashapaug this am. Brought my gear just in case. Mash has snow covered ice in areas about an 1" or 1-1/2 with lots of open water. Bigalow is pretty much locked up but only a couple of inchs of
snow covered black ice. not quite ready. A couple of cold nites should do it. Hopefully we'll get that b4 the rains. If we do I think it will stick. That hollow stays pretty cold.
