(02-11-08) I launched from Williams Point Saturday, on Oneida. There was 5 inches of ice give or take an inch. Fishing was slow. I went to the north end of Otisco Sunday. The shore was melting but once you got on the ice there was about a solid eight inches. Bluegills all day long there. Last Sunday I was on Tully Lake the ice was 3-4 inches and the Pickerel were hitting. With this entire week being well below freezing does anyone know of any new spots that might freeze over. I might explore the open waters of Otisco this coming weekend.
