Have you ever?

Have you ever been out on the ice and the perch are biting so well (using a pimple) that you don't have to tip the pimple with bait or even jig it just dead stick it.  cause i've fortunate enough to experience that.

My Dad and I a number of years ago had that happen to us. It was like a feeding frenzy,and the perch were a decent size! It hasn't happened in a while however.  Just as fast as the pimple went down the hole--Wham!!

kinda had that but with no pimple just a plain hook and a worm,(later we traded it for some perch meat to keep the little guys off) it would hit the bottom and the rod would twitch this went on all day long.
