Saving jet sleds from wearing on pavement
« on: Feb 15, 2008, 10:59 AM »
Anyone have the problem of wearing holes out in the bottom of your jet sleds? I have modified mine with 2 runners on the bottom made out of nylon. Saves me from having to carry it across roads and parking lots and from buying a new one all together. It's a little over half way through the season and the nylon is barely roughed up and I've put a beating on it this year dragging it in and out of my driveway and across hard surfaces. Still slides like a champ.
How can you be icefishing if you're sitting at your computer???
