Southern maine small ponds

Has anyone been on any of the smaller ponds today? how did they hold up.. barker, deer, isinglass, slaughter ;D i mean otter ponds.  ??? ;D


any info would be great, heading out tomorrow but don't wanna be to risky.

How about highland, anyone venture out on it? by the dam?

wouldnt go towards the dam usually a small current threw there and ice would be weaker........ i think there is some ice out highland but dont bring any heavy artillery........  gave highland a break had to do some crap for the old lady, my boss pulled his shack 3 days ago he said there was 5inches of good ice dont know about today..

just got in off of Highland . The ice is fine out there . We had the 4 wheeler out there today and many other 4 wheelers running around all over the lake . Nitro your shack is still out there it looked like to me   . still 8-10 inches out where we were today .

 Bunch of Bass and pickerel today . No Browns or salmon on our traps today  . Yes it was a great day out there . needed the cleats slippery ice out there , But NO SLUSH ;D ;D ;D

Slippery is right! I took a shot at the DIGGER AWARD last nite. Horizontal body slam w/3 inches of water on top! On the way out!  No witnesses. Thank god/Dicks for waterproof wear! :roflmao:

Also fished it today, Southern end by dam. I ended up with 2 nice bass about 4#each and many pickerel....the prize of the day was a nice 16 in. salmon. Ate the shiner in about 10' of water....on bottom!!!! 10 inches of decent ice, couple groups out there
