Nassau lake has been unfortunately contaminated by PCB's leeching from a landfill up one of the feeder streams. Maybe give Burden lake a shot, nice place to fish and not far from Nassau.

I live on Burden lake and fish all 3 lakes very often. There starting to heat up here. Were catching alot of midsized pike(between me and my buddies that is)alot of flags...mostly bass but a flag is a flag ....if you want lunkers go to nassua.....dont eat anything out of there but you always have a good shot of catching a big one....my buddies and i will be on nassua on tuesday ....ill post what we catch...hopefully its a good day...take care and happy ice fishing

Theres a dyke you can park on and walk right off of it . Real easy to get on. Alot of perch in here as well , if you end up jigging use a decent size jig with a fathead on it. If you end up going make a post on here and i can meet up with you on the lake and show you some spots, till then take care and happy ice fishing.
