This is a great site...

Just found this site the other day and it is awesome. Havent iced fish since i was in the service but my 7 yr old wants to go so I am trying to brush up on it all over again. This site is a huge help.. biggest thing is the talk on safety really jars my memory and makes me thing seeing as not just me any more. Thanks for all the info you all put up here..look forward to lots of reading and hopefully can offer up some stuff as well..

Went out for a couple hours this morning. Within 20 min he caught a perch on a jig.. Nothing on the tip ups and jsut that one perch but he appears have the bug.. Wants to go out and get his own jigging pole this afternoon and get back out their tomorrow AM..

Welcome to the site cmjqci! Good place to hang out while your at work!! I'm in Wilson, 60 miles West of you right on the LO shore line, but myself and many current and former IS members fish in your territory most every weekend fall, winter, and spring chasing the perch and pike at Braddocks, Long, and Cranberry. (I'll bee at Long tomorrow and maybe Sunday)
Never fished I-Bay, but hope to get out on it this winter.

This site help you and saves alot of time driving around.We all have limited time to fish and it helps me alot.Im hooked.AS I fish places I meet others like last nite I met ICE BOY on a madison lake ,even more helpful in person.

I first ice-fished Honeoye and Sodus when I was 5 years old.  I'm 37 now, and get just as excited now as I used to.  Not many pursuits you can say that about . . .
