Ice in Hillsdale?

I see ice on Long in Reading, the narrows is mostly froze up but you would have to access it from the public launch. Anybody know how much is out there? Or any other lakes that have iced up? I am probably going to venture out this next weekend and give it try or at least check it out.

Local Lakes around me (Washtenaw, Ingham, Livingston) Have anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 inches of good, black ice. With the lows down into the single digits last night, hopefully we have accumulated another half inch or so.

Lake Somerset in HIllsdale county had 2.5" as of Saturday morning and should have more after last night. The only problem is that Somerset is a private lake, but the other lakes down US12 headed east are locked up as well should be the same thickness.

Saturday there were quite a few people on Little Long Lake right there off of Camden Rd. Some good perch in there. I'm going to go out next weekend I think.

I seen about 10 guys out on Bass Lake. Talked with a few guys that fished this past weekend and they were killing the crappie over on the Coldwater chain. I'm probably either going to try Long lake (Reading) or North sand lake this coming Sunday.. weather permitting...

Won't say where on Baw Beese, but a buddy caught 5 bass and 3 small pike on a tip up on Sunday. He did say the ice was still a little scary though.
