it's gotta be coming up soon.

Is anybody going to the Evanston one?

Don't remember the name of the lake off the top of my head...but me, my dad, and a few others are going to go down for the second time.

ya sulphur creek...oh I know it's spotty....we were there once before (like i mentioned) and as a 4 man group caught 2 fish in 2 days...both fish by the same guy. Hopefully it's a lot better this time...defintely wouldn't travel far for it...just if you live in the area.

January 21st and 22nd. I fished it in December and was checked by a Game Warden. We caught alot of fish but they were in the 10-12 inch category. The warden told me they stocked these and everyone was having success.

that would be awesome to catch some eyes.

only caught one before and that was up at boysen trolling (first day). By the time we figured out how to fish them, it was the last day (3 day trip) and we had to go.

Sorry, I was looking at the Chambers website-2006. However, it is listed as an annual event the third weekend in January. http://www.saratogachamber.info/Annual%20Events%20-%201.htm

we were there, caught a bunch of 16,17,18 inch fish but no biggies. on sunday though my girlfriend had about a 26 inch fish come in and brush up against and nip at her jig but he wouldn't put the hook in his mouth. she said he had a pretty long mouth so she was sure he was a male fish, we all know what that means male fish=long inches.  she has caught quite a few big fish so she knows what she is talking about. too bad, we could've definitely used the bucks.  also my girl caught all the fish this weekend all i caught was the skunk.  good thing i taught her all i know. also as a side note we stayed at an establishment called "THE PLACE" it was about 20 miles southeast of saratoga(only place we could find a room) it was a first rate establishment, great cabin style lodging w/ showers, satellite tv,gas heaters, hot water, coffee pots in the room.  just a really nice place, they have their own little restaurant which i ate probably the best cheeseburger i have ever had. not too expensive all things considered, people are real nice.  i guess they cater to snowmobile crowds in the winter.  great place to stay. way out in the boonies, it was kind of nice being out there away from all the drunks in the town.
