Know of good panfish lake in NW WI ?
« on: Dec 30, 2006, 07:46 AM »
I was wondering if anybody knew of a good panfishing lake within 1 hour of Bloomer, WI ?  I have a son that is impatient and I would like him to see some good action to get more interested and stay on the ice longer.  Any suggestions for a good lake that is not overly crowded?

try marshmiller lake. it is just east of Bloomer. check a state map. access to the lake at cedar inn resort or birchpoint campground. good luck.

It's not how deep you fish, but how you wiggle your worm !!!

I've heard that it's very hard to fish marshmiller in the winter?

Not true at all. drive on at cedar inn resort, go to the left 200-300 yards and your there.
