We have a foot and a half of ice, but we also have a couple feet of snow on top. Overflow is horrendous(at least six inches), making it impossible for a vehicle.
ATV's are out of the question, and snowmobiles are iffy. What with the overflow, the sloppy snow clogs up the track. If you happen to get into a "honeyhole" and lose track of time, you have one hell of a job to get moving again!! Walking out, tugging your sled and equipment is a real beotch, to say the least, but it seems to be the only way to do it right now. Needless to say, my usual winter passion is suffering as a consequence. Even the beer does not taste as good at home or in a friend's shop while discussing our plight!!!
