The 2600 is 64" and the 5.5 bed is 67".
All I know for sure I have a Silverado 6' bed and my 2600 fits with a lot of room to spare.

It's 67" but the upper bed rail across the front is almost 2 inches.   So that really leaves about 65".

I would measure the Eskimo 2600 in person if you can find one.  I bought a Grizzly made by Eskimo based on their dimensions listed on the box and websites.  They used the measurements of the sled not the assembled product.

I agree with that.   I love the grizzly but it just doesn't fit in my truck.   I knew that when I ordered the truck.

And I'd like the fact the eskape is supposed to fit under the bed rails

My input would be to check the height of the new hut, especially if you have a tonneau cover. I had a Nissan Titan with a tonneau cover that sat on top of the bed rails and my hut fit perfect without having to unclip the cover. Got the same truck with a tonneau cover that sat flush with the bed rails and I had to unclip the cover every time to loan/unload the hut, plus the cover wouldn't close properly if there was any snow built up on the bottom of my hut. It made it a pain the butt to safely keep my hut in the truck for the season, since I don't have a garage to store it between trips.

Think my biggest issue is I can't find a single place near me or even in the state that has a 2400 to look at.
