Daiwa qr750 carbon washer?
« on: Dec 04, 2022, 12:47 PM »
Anyone know where you can buy carbon washers for the drag on a Daiwa qr750? I’ve done this upgrade to my sienna’s and would like to on the daiwa’s. Can’t find much via google.

Any nut / bolt - fastener supply should have em' or you could try W.W. Grainger
Their catalog has an e-edition.

Try Mike's reel repair, #208 - 45910 Rowat Ave. Chilliwack, BC, V2P0L2 Canada. He only lists a phone for local calls, don't know how that works. He's got a gianormous pile of parts for lots of brands and models. Best bet is to fill out the form at the bottom of the "contact us" page. mikesreelrepair.com/contact-us/

Heres's the link to the Daiwa upgrade page. Didn't see yours here but one may cross over or he may be able to track down a set for you.

Great guy. He's had a pile of my business over the years for ABU round reels. Prices were always less than from factory and practically anything you could imagine.

Good luck with your upgrade!

John at TUCR took care of me.  Pleasure to work with.  Washers are installed and drags are smooth.  Now to hopefully hear them "sing" a bunch this winter!

Good for you Coach! Just goes to show ya... If you ring enough doorbells sooner or later someone will let you in that can actually help you.
