I have four if you count an original Jet Sled with wood seat as a shack.  I bought that probably 25 years ago when the carpeted wood seat was included and you could stand the Jet Sled up and use it as a wind break.  I also have a Clam Yukon, 20 + years old with a recently replaced thermal cover, a Clam Pro TC for solo fishing, and a recently purchased Eskimo 450 pop up shelter for when there will be a crowd going and we can use it as base camp.   I should have enough for the rest of my ice fishing career!

I thought I was bad! You may have a lot of shacks but they all serve a purpose. I am far enough south that people think I’m crazy for having more than one shack.

Otter XT Pro X-over (This is my main shack when there is enough ice to pull it behind my wheeler or i have someone else going with me.)

Otter XT Cottage (I have only used this shack the last two days i was out. I have been looking at them for several years but could never justify getting one. Finally broke down and bought one on clearance. Wanted the Pro version but after seeing the issues a couple buddies were having with theirs I’m glad i stuck with the xt. I removed the bench and mounted one of the pro seats out of my Lodge on the bench framework. Let’s just say I’m very sad the season is over for me. Unless i have someone going with me that doesn’t have their own shack this is going to be my primary shack. So much easier to load and unload, fits all my gear and is easy to setup and tear down.)

Eskimo 6120i (I got this one for when i went fishing with a big group or when my family wants to go, which is hard because the kids are getting very busy. Next season i plan to do some ice camping in it. Tried it once solo but i backed out because it was so cold and like i said i was alone. I have a couple buddies who are interested in doing next year. I’m going to learn from my mistakes this time and make it work.)

First shelter purchased was the Clam Bigfoot XL4000T hub.
Second shelter added to the lineup was the Clam Yukon Thermal.
Third shelter added to the lineup was the Clam Blazer Non Thermal.

Still have all three and they all get used depending on when or where I am fishing.

I must be the odd one.  I am lucky enough to live on a lake and just have one. Otter xt x over lodge.  May make a small hard side someday,  but I really like the simplicity of the otter.   I also use a bucket occasionally.
I hope to switch to all bucket in the next few years. Someday, I will live by some lakes and fish on nice days sitting on a bucket.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

I like the idea of having the ability to quickly move if needed, but can see the plus side of having a hard side.  Problem around these parts is that you get a lot of thieves who break and enter the units.  Too many issues to deal with.  Now, renting one is a definite answer to this problem.

I would also like to get to the bucket way.  Seems pretty simple to just move from hole to hole pulling a sled and bucket.  Warmer weather will allow this shortly.  Brief, but shortly.  Once our ice starts changing, it can disappear pretty quickly.

Ice87,
What were the issues your buddies were having with the pro version?

Said the seat seems to lean too far forward and not go back far enough. He said the sled was bowing down where the seat mount sits on the front sled rail. They seem shorted to me when compared to my xt cottage.

  One a shappell 6000
The photo is from last week, the 1st time it's been out in 2 years. Used it because my grandson was with me. I'm a bucket sitter from way back.
