Hi Guys, I can't hardly wait for ice. I would like to plan a trip in the north west part of the state for me and a couple of buddies> Can you guys tell me where to go and what to bring for bait> Would really like to get some walleyes but i would settle for any thing>I live in Shenandoah and we had hardly any ice last year and I can't stand it so this year I am going to travel a little. I would appreciate any advice you pros have to give

Welcome to the ice shanty...  check the topic in the iowa forum about an iowa get together this winter.  Alot of people have been suggesting lakes to fish for the get together.  There are lot's of people on here that have alot of knowledge as to where to try fishing at.  Just keep watching for people to post under the Iowa forums as I am sure they will let you know where there is good ice at and what has been hitting.  Anyways good luck this year!!!

Last year we fished 8" ice on Brushy long after every thing was open water around DesMoines.
