Lake Alice / Waterport
« on: Feb 29, 2020, 05:11 PM »
I fished off of the town boat launch on the north side of the lake.  About 6" of crap white ice.  It's hard to say whether or not the fish were interested today because I had no idea **censored** I was doing out there.  Never been up to Lake Alice before and the face that it drops to 55 fow in about 20 yards, no structure that I could find was a much different fishing that I typically do. I did have a few marks on the finder, but a lack of skill to make it happen.

I tried a lindy perch rig, sweedish pimple, jigging rap, and plastics on small jibs and some spikes...at least the weather was nice!

I will have to check it out on another day when I have someone with me to do a bit more exploring and even better if that person has had success there before.

Fairly comfortable day, though every now and again the wind was a factor.
Blue snow is better than yellow snow
