Polarbird 4T Long
« on: Oct 24, 2019, 07:43 PM »
I just purchased a used Polarbird 4T in good shape. I know they have stopped selling in the US but see others purchased them on this site a few years ago. Anyone have tips or other recommendations for the bag? I feel like the straps may be a pain in the cold but I suppose so are the zippers on other pop ups. Also I remember reading that people were adding fishing holes to the insulated floor? Does anyone have recommendations on doing so? Looking forward to using it as it is my first pop up and insulated shelter.

Ive got a polarbird 4t.the shelter and straps are real easy to get the shelter in the bag.easier than a zipper imo.as far as the floor i just use the stock holes but you can cut others.theres vids on how to do that on YouTube I believe.one warm shelter with the floor installed.the white color of the inside makes seeing bites alot easier too.

Hey Doc...where did you get yours? Kinda looking at them but best I could do was Bass Pro, but no price and only 1 size. :-\

lol i won mine on here.even had a little prostaff gig with them for a brief second while they were in the usa.i had a 20% off prostaff code that I would get 40$ for every person that used my code.that career didnt last long.i love my polarbird 4t for speck/smelt fishing at night.being white inside instead of black i can see alot better as far as bites and dont need to turn the lantern on as fast.

I tried to get 4t long bought before they closed up shop.... I missed out on that.
I then found a 3t long on Amazon, I paid for it and got my money refunded. Still searching...
