How do you make your hole?
« on: Oct 21, 2019, 04:48 PM »
Hi folks

Im attempting to convert my popup to a wheel house. My question is how do you cut the holes? Trace a bucket and cut it out with a jigsaw? Or is there a better way?

Thank you for your assistance

That'd work or you could get a cheap compass and make your circle, use a tape measure and go out from your center every 1/4" to get your circle or you could make them square too.

Drive a nail or screw at the center of where you want the hole. A pencil on a string to the center does the rest. String length = 1/2 hole diameter. Jigsaw or sawsall cuts the hole. Done.
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

When measuring remember that a buckets edge is tapered
