This past Saturday was the end of the ice season for me. The warm weather and rain this week will destroy the edges and frankly I am ready for open water. Been hitting the ice hard since early December with a bunch of the NJF crew.
On Saturday after 5 failed attempts I
FINALLY nailed a landlock through the ice!
Also landed another Skillful Angler Pickerel.

Overall the season was fun and successful. The Pickerel always cooperated and kept the flags flying.
Got my first iced smallie
Some nice Greenies
and my first ice muskie.
Poor little guy wasn't strong enough to trip the flag and was found when cleaning up for the day. Guess you have to start somewhere!Even got the wifey out on some of the nicer days. Of course she out fished me as usual.
Time to start tuning up the gear and getting the boat prepped!
All fished released for others to enjoy.
