Caution on saginaw river
« on: Feb 21, 2019, 10:00 PM »
Was out there today....checked 5 different launches from z bridge to edson.. Ice is deteriorating rapidly.... Ice in the channel varied from 3-6 inches and was not good solid ice... With warm conditions and rain in the forecast i do not reccomend making a river trip this weekend

Thanks for the update!  We're doing a re-route and headed to TC instead.  Again, THANKS for the report, Doeslayer!

That's good to know. Thanks.
Sad thing is that they have been forecasting high winds for Sunday for a couple days now, and you know people will be
heading out onto the bay. If you do decide to fish the bay this weekend make sure to have a "Enhanced License" or
"Passport" with you, the Canadian officials will need to see it when you enter their waters.  ;D

From sunday 10 am to monday 7 am it's 48 mph to 34 mph in that region..  oUT of west heading from the usa to Canada..  there calling for.  If you read this blended graph at this link..the avarge is like 15 to 20 mph but gust posible to almost 50 mph.. I use a sail boat wind website  to keep a eye on wind speeds. At sail flow link below.. it helps lol's
