Thats a good question. I have been thinking about this for the last month already. My problem is moved this summer and have no idea where to put it. Anyone recomend someplace Oh, almost forgot, I moved to kindersley!

I am all portable so I can pretty much go anywhere.   Looking at up north more,  Hanley is close to home so there too.........(strap was unproductive last winter).  Possible trip to Nunn lake in January too.

Where do you fish on Hanley? Fished the mouth of the stream twice last year. Saw a pile of fish remains on the ice there. Saw some guys blow by us going across somewhere. One guy set up right behind the pumphouse (very close). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Last year was terrible everywhere.  This year I'm going North - way North!

My shack is not going to the Strap this year!!!!!!!

Other than a few trips for big Pike in Dec and early Jan. I won't go to the Strap this year!!!!!

Plan on hittin Iroquios and the surrounding area hard this winter.

Not sure where I'm goin.  My heart says Lake Athebaska, my head says Jan lake.

I will be icefishing somewhere in East - Central Sask. that's all I know for sure.
I have a few choices. I could icefish around the Greenwater area, Foam lake area or try an area like Goodspirit Lake or Theodare reservoir.
I haven't decided which one yet.


I am hoping for a few more open water trips before I decide.

Hey water wolf how's you make out at barrier this year.  I'm from the southern part of the provience and we went up there 4 times this year and hammered jumbo perch had a great time.  Just wondering because you said you fish the greenwater area?

 I Don't know.  Blackstrap was slow last year but it was good for the odd good day..  I'll probably try some lakes around Meadow
