schoodic ice condations

 hi there, may be going to the camp on schoodic this weekend. i was wondering what there was for ice.  any info would be good.   thank you and good fishing.   be safe out there ....

I was there sunday night and it was still quite thick.  Out from knights landing there was probably 12-14" with the top inch or two really soft, but below that it was still fairly solid ice.  Lots of guys were out with sleds and atvs, but most everyone has pulled their shacks by now.  Like everywhere else, the warm weather has started to eat away near the shoreline and causing some drilled holes to grow rather quickly, but once you're on the ice it shouldn't be a problem.
