Hit the same pond yesterday & ice added 1/2inch over night. 2 perch, 2 crappie & 1 LM.  I hope this ice sticks around with coming temps.  ???

Made it out yesterday with Wiggly813. Had a great day for the first trip out with about 6" of ice on pond in Sullivan County. Had a few hammer handles on the ice and a couple real nice bass. No perch and not many lookers. Minnow supply was short but had enough for the day. Calling different shops in the area and most are not stocking up on live bait until more ice in the area. Safe Fishing everyone with the early ice!!
If you think your going to have a bad day you will seldom disappoint yourself!

Fished Egypt Meadows at Promised Land Thursday on 5 1/2in ice caught some gills, perch and a bullhead. 1st time I ever jigged a bullhead and had to check on Youtube how to skin them lol. The perch were the darkest (blackish) perch I have ever seen.  :o Wonder why? FT

Hope the cold temps come back soon.  :P
